We need to upgrde ios on this switch. We have installed new IOS version on my laptop. Now in order to remove old ios and upgrade to new ios we can run the command
copy tftp to flash?
If you have enough flash for both don't delete the old version. In order to copy the IOS into the switch type:
#copy tftp://IP_laptop/file.bin flash:
Once copied configure the switch loads with the new IOS when it boots:
#conf t
#boot system file.bin
#reload
copy the image to flash and then
switch(config)# boot system flash flash:
