What is the command or a series of commad too view the ip addresses are seen on each port?

Qsolved Question : On a 3750 running 12.2(55) is there a command or a series of commands that will let us see which ip addresses are seen on each port?

sh ip arp just shows the vlan ip addresses are seen from, but we need to correlate ip addresses to port numbers for directly connected hosts. Also what commands are needed to turn on snmp so a switch port mapper application can provide this information?

Qsolved Answer :

You need to us the mac-addresses ie. show the mac-address table which will show the mac to port mapping and then use arp to match the mac-address to the IP.

Note if the 3750 is acting as L3 switch this will work fine. If it is a L2 switch then you need to look at the arp table on the L3 device responsible for the inter-vlan routing.
